Liberec (Reichenberg German, cyg. Libercys) – a town in northern Bohemia Łużycka nad Nisou, Liberec capital of the country, located at the foot of Ještěd. Center of winter sports. 6 This is the largest city in the Czech Republic. In 1577 the town received city rights. Liberec is inhabited by 97,400 people (2005).
